Good Bye Twenty-Ten... It Is A New Time.

2010 was filled with many struggles. It was a year of trails, testing, temptations, turmoils. Our time was filled with grief from loss, wrestling with God and battling the flesh, and struggling to overcome great odds. We were tested in our faith and endurance as a family. But it was not all bad...

"Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trails of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything." James 1:2-3

We were taught great lessons as a family this past year. Lessons in trust, communication, prayer, and boundaries. Lessons that I believe will carry over and serve us well in 2011. We experienced division so that we can be united, brokenness so that we can be healed, trails so that we can overcome. And that is what we have become this year... OVERCOMERS.

So we go into 2011 together, as overcomers. We prepare for new things to invade our lives. Good things. For we have hope, that it is a NEW TIME.

"Forget about what has happened; don't keep going over old history. Be alert, be present. I'm about to do something brand-new. It's bursting out! Don't you see it? There it is! I'm making a road through the desert, rivers in the badlands." Isaiah 43:19-20

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
