I LOVE....

I love wildflowers in a meadow, a good book, an encouraging word. I love the smells of honeysuckles, a fresh pot of coffee, and newborn babies. I love long walks on the beach, making love with my husband, and the sound of my kid's laughter. I love Ah-Ha moments and teachable moments. I love campfires, puppy dogs, the firefly show on a summer evening, and road trips. I love good stories, fond memories, and a good cry. I love worshiping God with my whole being. The beauty of a sunset when the sky is painted in purples and pinks. I love long meaningful talks with great friends. I love when my heart is captivated by a loving intimate God who woos me to Him and fills my life with passion and purpose...

John Eldredge says in his book Waking the Dead, "Everything you love is what makes a life worth living." He also says that loving requires that we have a heart that is alive, awake, and free. Make a list of all the things you love. Write at the top of your paper, I Love... and just write. Don't worry about editing or prioritizing. Simply think of the things that you love and write them down.

"A life filled with loving is a life most like the one that God lives, which is life as it was meant to be." Eph. 5:1-2

Focus with me on the things we love today, and not the mundane, unimportant, frivolous things of this world. Lets live from a heart that is fully alive, because that is the glory of God, friends.

Much Love,
Kristin
